DESCRIPTION:

The Lumenyte BURIAL J- BOX is designed for underground illuminator placement
in outdoor applications where it is desirable for the harness-ready illuminator to be hidden from view. The Burial J-Box includes a second smaller box in which splices are made to accommodate the harness coupling. Be sure to order adequate harness fiber length for this purpose. This product is compatible with all Encore™ Series illuminators and Powerhouse™ (PH) Series illuminators. The illuminator is ordered separately. PVC piping is not included.

SPECIFICATIONS:
Dimensions	Overall dimensions vary based on fiber size, site conditions and length of 2.5" PVC installer uses between boxes. See drawings on reverse. With 6" of PVC used between boxes, approximate dimensions: For 100-200 Fiber Size: L: 35" (89.0cm) W: 20" (50.8cm) H: 9.5" (24.1cm) For 300-700 Fiber Size: L: 37" (94.0cm) W: 17.3" (43.9cm) H: 9.5" (24.1cm) Dimensions exclusive of fittings.
Housing Material	Hot compression molded, fiberglass reinforced polyester containing 25% glass fibers.
Construction	Enclosures have molded tongue and groove labyrinths at all seal points. Gaskets are foamed polyurethane, providing optimum seal that is impervious to water, chemical and dust penetration. Cover screws (4) are outside of the seal.
Electrical Control	All boxes have (1) penetration for Power On/Off. A box with Stoppable Color Wheel illuminator will have two (2) penetrations. Synchronized systems (i.e., DMX, CSC, etc.) require a total of three (3) penetrations. All electrical control penetrations are typically on the same side/area as the electrical power (see drawing on reverse). Installer must provide power to both illuminator and to burial box fan.
Cooling Fan	105 C.F.M. Sealed Bearing Axial included.

Note:

1. 2" PVC is required to above-ground locations for AIR-OUT and AIR-IN. Do not exceed 15' (4.5 m) distance. Pipes should face downward and have coarse mesh screen to guard against animal infiltration.
2. General depictions noted below. Burial J-Boxes vary in fiber arrangement/configuration.
3. Recommended maximum fibers and fiber fitting size noted in chart below.
4. Due to varied configurations, each Burial Box is uniquely made. Allow 4-6 weeks lead time after receipt of order.
